Problem with 1.2 beta firmware
« on: August 24, 2011, 07:20:42 AM »

Having installed fw 1.2beta, I couldn't modify user accounts. GUI would let me get as far as the Quotas page, then ignore the Next button.

Downgrading to 1.1 fixed the issue (and removed all the network shares at the same time, grrrr...)

You should periodically save a local copy of your system configuration settings, especially before performing a firmware upgrade. In the web interface navigate to: Management > System Settings > Configuration Settings

Keeping a local copy of your settings is critical if something goes wrong during an upgrade (or downgrade). FYI, you should also maintain configuration files for your router and other relevant networked hardware for the same reason.
