Try to access the page of your router (default: 192.168.0.1) you will find what router you are using on its GUI

You will find that is what the firmware has hard coded into it, not the hardware itself.
Load up a different firmware (as I have done) and the GUI says it is something else.
Don't trust the firmware displays... What matters is the code on the motherboard. Best is to find the firmware for whatever they have engraved/etched/printed on it and it should work with that... Whatever it is, will be far better than the 2310 firmware...
