i2c_wait4bus failed to wait for the bus to be idle.

Already two days since I arrive at my company and find the storage working (accessible) but I can not control it by serial port, just for telnet but there are no functions working, I can not restart it or shut it down.

When I connect via serial port the following message is shown:
i2c_wait4bus failed to wait for the bus to be idle.

Any idea what is the problem?
