Nas share stop working after upgrade to Windows 8.1
« on: December 06, 2013, 08:33:31 PM »

I was unable to write on my disk, I did not change anything on my DNS-323. The only thing changed is the upgrade of my os from Windows 8 to 8.1. When I try to access mys share, I saw my directory, can read all my files but can't add or edit any file. Windows tell me I did not have rights.

What can I do?

How were the access rights on the NAS configured?

If you changed Windows usernames &/or passwords during the OS upgrade that would affect how the NAS responds.

RAID1 is for disk redundancy - NOT data backup - don't confuse the two.
