I'm using a DIR-628 as the main router for a home network. Some machines connect to the network using wireless 802.11g while others use ethernet cat-5 cables. All the machines can talk with each other and share files.
However, when using Network Neighbourhood in Windows Explorer,
1) machines using the wireless network only see other machines on the wireless network.
2) machines on the ethernet network only see other machines on the ethernet network.
3) wireless machines do not see ethernet machines
4) ethernet machines do not see wireless machines
Does anyone know if there is a router setting which affects this?
p.s. All the machines use DHCP provided by the DIR-628 and are part of the same Workgroup. Moving a machine from wireless to ethernet causes it to loose track of the wireless machines and discover the ethernet machines.
Cheers and thanks,
Chris.
