This has happened twice now since Monday.
Our phone system has been working well except for two times now this week when it no longer was capable of making an outbound call. During this period any call made out shows the D-Link phone saying "Talk" like usual but no actual call gets placed and its just unlimited dead air. Also during this period incoming calls can come in w/o a problem.
We have 3 gateways (DVG-3104MS With current firmware available). I'm not sure if it is just one of the gateways giving us problems. All 3 Gateways have 4 lines active.
To fix the problem I simply go into the RP Admin app and Right Click on each gateway -> Edit Voice Service -> Next -> Next -> Next -> Finish to each Module. After reconnecting all of them things seem to work fine.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to reconnect one at a time to verify if it was just one causing the problems... though the first time this happened I couldn't reconnect one of the modules since it had an active call going (I'm not sure what part of the reconnecting process causes the "reset" but it just failed the "Reconfig" screen asking to try again in a moment). Even though I hadn't reconnected that one all the way the outbound calls had resumed like normal.
I have been unable to reproduce this problem reliably, it seems to be random. The first time this occurred was on Monday afternoon (the first day of full service for the system, it had been hooked up for about a month for testing and waiting for our PA system equipment). The second time was this morning around 8AM CST and the phone system had been in use the entire time.
If there are any further trouble shooting steps I can take when this occurs please post them here... I'm not certain how to a) run logs off of the gateways b) reboot the gateway (w/o using the "Edit Voice Service" app). I know these things have some form of Telnet interface but I'm weary of "toying" with it since I wouldn't know what i was doing.
