DIR-601 works with PC, but not iPad. Help!

My PC netbook accesses the Internet via DIR-601 wireless network, but my iPad does not. Signal to iPad is strong. iPad can access other wireless networks OK. Password is not the issue. Any help is greatly appreciated. Is it due to the old version of firmware? Please help. This is a Christmas present. Below are the settings.
