Opening ports in DIR-655
« on: December 27, 2011, 10:37:35 PM »

I'm trying to get the silly iTunes Wi-Fi sync to work  :'(, and I've been told to ensure that these ports are open:5297 TCP 5298 TCP/UDP and 5353 UDP in the hardware router.  How do I do this with the DIR-655 (HW version A3, FW version 1.35NA)?

Thanks!!!

Need to set up an IP address reservation for the device your using iTunes for.
Then go into the router under Advanced and Port Forwarding and use the IP address you reserved and enter in the TCP port numbers, you can use all number separated by a comma (,). Allow Always. Save the check mark and Save settings.
