323 will not download Torrents
« on: April 03, 2009, 04:00:03 PM »

Hi folks,
I have recently upgraded my D-Link to Firmaware 1.06, in order to fix two things:
1. I was unable to delete Torrents once downloaded...
2. My Xbox was unable to find content through UPnP.

I've upgraded and UPNP works only sometimes.

However, I'd really like to get the Torrents working again, and now, when I add a Torrent URL, it tells me that the download is about to start and nothing happens?
Can anyone make any suggestions how to resolve this? I have a lot of content on the 323 right now that I do not want to lose.
Thanks in advance,
Troy

I've posted on this too.  nobody seems to have a fix if you see this error.

The work around is to point it at the torrent file rather then the URL. (ie download first to your pc then use the torrent from file option)

Try resetting your DNS-323 to factory defaults and reconfigure the unit if you did not do this after updating the firmware. Then go back and enable the UPnP AV media server and share your media folder not the entire root. This may help with you Xbox issue.

As for BT URL's I am having an issue with this as well and we are currently looking into this. Please start BT's by file.
