Problem seems to be related to the OS on the LT as the other PC, 7 ultimate works. Turned off everything security wise and still SP said that there were no servers available to connect to.

User needs to try using updated printer drivers on the LT and if still wont' work, I recommended trying the following:
1. Disconnect the printer from the SP port on the router and connect it to the other PC and share out the printer on that PC.
2. Get a USB to LAN adapter and connect the printer to it and use IP addressing to print to it.
3. Clean install of 7 Ultimate on the LT.

I don't any any experience with this print server so I would recommend getting a hold of the Mfr support for that modem print server.

Is this error message displaying on the LT? Does the other PC connect to the print server? If the LT doesn't and the PC does, you might be back to square one with the LT and that particular OS.  ???

But on the 2 systems still no connection with the printer

I would set up a reserved IP address for the print server at 192.168.0.150. I thought that .102 was your LT that we reserved. If you have the print server set up, then your PCs and printer driver should be pointed to 192.168.0.150 after you get the Print server set up and that IP reserved on the router. After you reserve that IP address. Power OFF the printer server then power back on and it should work.

Again, make contact with the Mfr of that print server if you need to for additional help.

I have read on the Mfr of silex how to reset de printerserver and also change the settings inside the print-server.
After seret the server was on another IP adres 192.168.0101.
I changed the stting in the software of the printer with the same IP adress and It works on my desktop.
The seconfd was the LT. Ik have done the same and after than there was only one problem with AVG firewall. I put the IP adress in the exceptions and its works also very fine.

Furrynutz I must thank you for the help but I have only one question. How can I save the settings of the router so that al changes that you have made can put in a backup?

regards Pierre

Glad you got the print server going.

Log into the server and use Tools/System and Save configuration to file. Give it a file name convention like: 20120201DIR825RevBv20?<FWverion so that you can see the date, model, RevInfo and Firmware verion in the file name.

Enjoy.
