My internet speed was very slow so I re-set up my wireless network again. After re-setting up, my wireless network always disappears when all my wireless computer/phone get off the network for several seconds. When I try to get my wireless connection again, none of my devices can detect it. In addition, the light of the wireless sign on my router is constantly on (blue), but no device can detect the it. I always have to go to my wireless set up and save my setting again (no change to the current setting). What can I do to fix my wireless network, so it will be detectable at all times?

What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under router.
What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on routers web page under status.

What wireless modes are you using? Under Setup/Wireless/Manual.
Try single mode G or mixed G and N?
What security mode are you using? Preferred security is WPA-Personal. WPA2/Auto TPIK and AES. Some WiFi adapters don't support AES, so you might want to try TPIK only.
What wireless devices do you have connected?
Any cordless house phones?
Any other WiFi routers in the area? Use InSSIDer to find out. Depending on if you have other WiFi around and if there are any open or unused channels, set the Auto Scan to a manual open channel, try 1 or 11 to test.
Turn off Short GI and Extra Wireless Protection if you have it. Under Advanced/Advanced Wireless.

Turn off all anti virus and firewall programs on PC while testing. 3rd party firewalls are not generally needed when using routers as they are effective on blocking malicious inbound traffic.
Turn off all devices accept for one wired PC while testing.

Here are the information about my rounter.

Hardware Version: B1
Firmware version: 2.00NA

Wireless Modes: Mixed 802.11n, 802.11g and 802.11b
I would love try other modes but I don't have the chance to do it now. (I can't ask people to turn off their laptops for now). What are differences of those modes?

Security Mode: WPA2-Personal
wireless devices connected: iPhones and laptops
I have cordless house phones, but I have no problem with the wireless detection before this re-set up.

Theres no need to broadcast modes that aren't being used like B and using Single mode G or Mixed G and N helps the signal range.

When you get a chance, try some of the suggestions mentioned and review the near by wifi routers using that application. Possible other near by wifi routers can effect your wireless operation.

I tried the mixed G and N ones already but it does not work. After we closed  all the wireless device altogether, the wireless network is not detectable awhile later.

Not sure if this information help, but one thing I notice is that before when my network is detectable all the time, the wireless sign on my rounter is orange, but now it is blue.

Any other WiFi routers in the area? Use InSSIDer to find out.

Also after checking for other Wifi near by, change the Auto channel Scan to a open channel. I sounds like the Wifi could be having a problem locking down a channel and signal.

Maybe someone can review your router settings with you using teamviewer if your interested. Its safe and secure.
