The DFL-210 is absolutely hopless to configure.
Take a good advice and buy some other firewall.

If you want help with some configuration we are here to help, any further posts like this and you will quickly lose your welcome here.

People learn and configure this firewall every day is is certainly not "absolutely hopeless" in any way.

configuring this kind of devices implies certain knowledge of networking basics.

Dlinks provide a free accesible user guide and pool of samples to start with.

 :-\ hmmmmmm

Although i have configured these devices i have to say that they operate in low level.

Chechito says that implies knowledge of basic networking, but today and short time ago there are devices that do things like this as assistants.

Imagine that with an Iphone or Android device you have to operate in low level to positioning on a world map.

From the other hand, DLink or Clavister offers other features that others no do it. I am using now DLink firewalls and although i have to break the brain my self they are very good devices.

I mind that these topics can be solved with less troubles.

I wouldn't say these devices are 'hopeless' to configure, like everyone said it just takes a bit of time to get used to the NetDefend OS.  It took me 3 days to get just the internet working, just because a DNS server wasn't available on the DFL-800.  But with a bit of research and patience, you can achieve what you want.

If the device is 'too hard' to configure, just stick with a stock standard ADSL router.
