FTP "critical error occured"
« on: February 12, 2012, 12:14:48 PM »

I set user account "ian" as full read/write access .. I'm usinbg FileZilla and most of the files copied fine, but now they are no longer copying. A few are copyiing but most fail. See examp[le below:

Status:   Starting upload of F:\DE\shares\Media\Exercise Videos\The_Biggest_Loser_Workout_vol1\folder.jpg
Command:   PASV
Response:   553 Users may not upload files
Error:   Critical file transfer error

Notice the "553 Users may not upload files"

Dunno why this would show all of a sudden.
If i create a new directory, i can upload that no problem

I am having same problem.
Filezilla.
Get critical error, then all queued files fail.

Exact same as OPs description.
This is new DNS-320 box that has other problems as well (my data integrity post)
