Hi,

I have earlier had an cheap crappy cam, but with this cam I could open a pre pecified URL on a event..

BUT HOW DO I DO THIS WITH MY NEW DCS-2230

WHY: I have created a PHP script that sends me an SMS when being run...

Assuming the DCS-2230 is like the DCS-2210, yes, I think so. You could set up an event where the trigger is "Periodic," the time interval is 15 minutes, and the event schedule is "Always," or Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (or whatever the construction schedule is). You could then set the Media as "Snapshot" using the desired profile. You have some options regarding naming the files and folders, but basically the files are already automatically named with the time and date.

If you are willing to keep a computer running all the time, of course, I'm sure you could find software that would do what you want as well.
