Pandora Streaming issue.
« on: April 18, 2012, 02:09:33 PM »

I have an issue streaming Pandora. It works great for about 20 minutes and then the whole box freezes. I do have the latest software update. Any suggestions?

How is the DSM connected to the internet? Host router or direct with a ISP Modem?
If a host router, what make and model is it?
What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?
What ISP Modem do you have? Stand Alone or built in router?
What ISP Modem make and model do you have?

I have the device hardwired to a a network at work, where I can stream Pandora all day long from my netbook with no problems at all. I do not know what ISP I have or any of that information because as I said this is at my work.  I do know I get 10.02Mbps Down and .74Mbps Up according to my last test with my netbook. Only thing I could think if is that the work networking services could be impacting the connection or other networking users online at the same time doing something. Not sure what your work ISP would be and what or if they even have a modem or other means of providing Internet the the users.

I would try this, take the DSM home and test it out there and see if it exhibits the same thing If you have a host router and ISP modem setup at home. Even a friend or neighbors if you don't at home.
