Recycle Bin Option

Is the Recycle Bin option limited to any data protocol?

Many NAS i know limit this option to SMB connections!

I run OSx, and i'd like to know if the Recycle Bin works on AFP and on all the other protocols suported by the DNS345.

Sorry but no one answered my quesion and, and i wasn't sure about the Network Recycle Bin, so i bought a QNAP that supports Recycle Bin on both AFP and SMB.
