What to do with an extra DIR-655?
« on: July 07, 2012, 04:45:22 PM »

I'm running a DIR-825 as my home network router but I managed to pick up a DIR-655 at a thrift store for $2.06 (without a power supply). I tried it for a few minutes to see if it resolved my DLNA issues but neither route would let me view avi files using Serviio (but that's a story for another day). Can I use the DIR-655 with the DIR-825 as an extender or something else? I like the dual band 5ghz for the TV and 2.4ghz for everything else. Thanks, Stan

Look in the FAQ Library on Turning a router in to an AP.
