Hi, I spent a great deal of time finally setting up these adapters, they are connecting, I am able to get emails, all lights are green on both adapters, web pages load fine.  

The problem I am having is the computer loses connection at weird times.  If I go to a site like speedtest.net and start the speed test, a few seconds in the network icon on in the task bar goes to a triangle with exclamation point and I lose the internet.  This also happens when I am downloading large artwork files through vuze bittorrent.  It starts but then it stops.  I have to keep disabling the network adapter and re-enabling the network adapter to get it to work.  

Any suggestions on how to fix this?  Thanks in advance!

I would check and make sure the adapter has a reserved IP address from the host router.

What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?
What ISP Modem do you have? Stand Alone or built in router?
What ISP Modem make and model do you have?

Setup DHCP reserved IP addresses for all devices ON the router. Setup/Networking
Ensure devices are set to auto obtain an IP address.

Does this happen if you move the adapter to a different room or different wall outlet?

I'm not sure about the DHCP reserved IP address, I didn't change any of the default setting on the router after Verizon installed it maybe two years ago except the SSID and channel number for wireless.  When I log into the router it says connection type dhcp, there are about 14 devices listed (ipods, ipad, other computers) I know we didn't set all those up manually so I'm guessing it is obtaining an IP automatically. 

It does happen when I move the adapter, it also happens when I plug the adapter into a laptop windows 7.  It's almost like it times out, especially when I go to speednet or another speed check site and it seems to happen at the testing upload point.

right now it is connected and works if I'm just browsing but once I download a podcast or something it drops.

I would see if the ISP Modem/Router can reserve IP addresses for each device that you connect to it. This will ensure each device gets it's own address and maintains it.

Might check the logs on the DHP and the modem to see if there are any indications when this happens and see if any of the logs say anything.

I see these devices don't have any FW updates so this could be that the device is faulty. Only other way to test it out would be to take it to a neighbor, friend or families place and see if the problem follows, if it doe's then you'll know the DHP is faulty.
