cannot view mobile android
« on: July 19, 2012, 02:50:00 PM »

I have a very odd problem.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S3, Android 4.0.4 os operating on at&t.

I can view my feed via any wifi connection, but not 4G connection.. I have tested it on other phones on at&t that I have in the family on same network 4g iPhone and android. And my phone seems to be the only that does not view the feed via 4G.

I have also tested it on friends phones.

The only thing I can think of is that at&t's 4G LTE network blocks viewing the port?

Also, any feed I get via wifi I can only view 1 min.

My home network is all iMac and use airport extreme base station. I have added the IP of camera to remain the same and made sure ports were forwarded.

Little do most know that the airport does not use uPnP instead uses NAT which I believe is my issue.

But I'm more concerned about my mobile connection.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Dont know if you still look on here but if you do then here is what i have found about static IP's.  Configuring your cam software with a static IP does not allow you to access your cam from myDlink lite.  I had to  config static with my router, so DHCP on cam, static on router(for cam)

@tollboothwillie - I have not found it to be the case. mydlink works for me with camera and/or router set to static. However, I do usually like to have the list set in the router so that various devices will retain their familiar address. We are using Macs, iPads, and Netgear WNDR3700 router.

I ended returning it because I couldn't figure any possible solution.
