Installed my new DWA-140 as per QIG, got a notice saying "Wireless adapter not found! Please insert the adapter now", followed by a notice of successful installation. The adapter could find the wireless modem, but "Windows cannot connect" whether attempting a manual connection or auto-connection.
Uninstalled all, reinstalled, with exactly the same result. Checked through the troubleshooter, got a "This device is working properly" notice, so uninstalled and removed and reboxed the thing.

Then read through another topic on this thread, and simply plugged the adapter in to a USB slot.
WINDOWS LOADED THE NATIVE DRIVER AND GOT IT CONNECTED IMMEDIATELY!

D-Link, what are you doing!?
