DNS-323 has died...
« on: August 20, 2012, 01:52:21 AM »

Hi, yesterday after a week I wanted to connect the DNS-323 and did not respond. Now is the DNS-323 at an electrician if he can handle anything. If he can't repair it, how can I get data from HDD? I had two HDD in RAID 1.
Thanks.

Post back and let us know if you're able to successfully retrieve your data.
Good luck!

Hi, i'll try at the weekend...

One more question; if i'll buy DNS-325, is it possible that i put both HDD (which were in DNS-323 RAID 1) and will work? ..or i'll lost data?

Tnx

From my understanding the DNS-320 and DNS-325 use different RAID formatting than the DNS-323, rendering legacy RAID arrays created by the DNS-323 incompatible, although it may be possible to port Standard Volumes between the units. Please see the following thread: http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=38438.0.
