Plastic hook
« on: October 14, 2012, 07:42:44 AM »

Quick question folks ... I just purchased a DNS-325 and found a plastic hook loose in the box.  I think I've located where it goes based on a picture in the manual (smack dab in the the middle-back).  What is its purpose?

In the DNS-345 manual it is even labeled : Cord Hook
That leaves me with the impression that you could fix a cable to it, perhaps to relieve the connector(s) from pulling force.

Yes, that is the cord hook, although the DNS-325 manual does not call it out as such.  ;)
