192.168.0.1 not letting me in
« on: October 31, 2012, 11:04:48 AM »

I want to open some ports on the DIR-655. When I try to log in as Admin I get the message "invalid password, try again". The guy who set it up said he did not set a password. I believe I can solve this by resetting the device but I really don't want to try that. Is there any sneaky way of getting access. I thought there might be a way in via the usb port. Any suggestions?

Default out of the box settings for the Admin password is blank so just click on Enter and it should log you in.

Make sure that you actually click the Log In button and not just hit the enter key on the keyboard.
