If I disconnect my device and reconnect it the DIR-857 gives it a new usb name 'usb(b1)' 'usb(c1)' 'usb(d1)'
Why can't it or Shareport simply remember the device and let it keep the same usb name or have Shareport automatically updating the mapping so it doesn't need to be updated manually every time it's removed? Can we get this fixed up?

There maybe a time out or something preventing it from keeping the same USB ID name. Especially if you have connected a different device after you disconnected the first one. There maybe a reason why it's handled like this and can't be modified.
