DWL-3200AP crash on web page login
« on: June 28, 2010, 10:48:30 AM »

I have ten DWL-3200AP's deployed, and now one of them is exhibiting strange behavior.

Attempting to log in via the embedded web server causes the device to crash.

Remote syslog looks like this:
firet-wap Jun 28 09:33:27 firet-wap.cbj.local [SYS]--Web login success from 192.168.52.30
firet-wap Jun 28 09:33:37 firet-wap.cbj.local [SYS]--AP reboot
firet-wap Jun 28 09:33:59 firet-wap.cbj.local [SYS]--AP cold start with f/w version: v2.50
firet-wap Jun 28 09:34:00 firet-wap.cbj.local [SYS]--Synchronize Timer with NTP
server:192.168.55.51 successfully!

And if I am telnetted into the WAP at the same time I access it with a web page I see this:

FIRET_WAP wlan1 -> Task ROMPAGER40 is dead

AP software 4.0.0.167
Rebooting AP...

Connection closed by foreign host.

Hmm...

As far as I can tell, the ROMAPGER40 issue has been seen at least once by a Russian user:

But I do not speak Russian.

Anyone more familiar with VxWorks that can tell me what's going on?

Did you manage to resolve this?
