(HELP) How to redirect ALL(or majority) of speed/bandwidth?
« on: November 04, 2012, 07:11:36 AM »

Hello all.
I bought this router in hopes of having good service and quality, which it holds up to (from time to time).
However I have a slight problem.

>My roomates.

They consistently download torrents day in and day out and it drives me insane as I do the minimal amount of downloading, and they absolutely refuse to change their behavior. I've talked to them about it and it has not made a difference. They both know how to crack WEP, and WPA's so changing password on connection is quite useless, and I'll also get bashed heavily (since I basically live with them).

My question to this forum is that of changing or re-directing the flow of bandwidth to me only, using the internal settings, I'm on a wireless connection since the router is in my mates room (another piss off).

Would this be possible to do?
If so I would appreciate any help given by the members of this board.
I really need to get work done and it is literally impossible when it takes 10 minutes to just load a webpage.

I would review the following and use the mutiple PC rule an setup a priority for 200. Group these PCs together in sequence and one rule. It should work: Gaming and QoS for XBL
