Compile new firmware

Hi,

I'm trying to compile a new firmware with netatalk 2.2 included but I'm not able to finish the compiling process.
In the shell script "build_fw" i a line which executes a "merge" - file, but this file is a binary file - so I can't run this file on linux or unix system and the build-process exiting with the error "can't execute a binary file".

Does anybody knows a solution?

have you checked if the binary file is executable?
