Dear All, I am just a newbie and not familiar with NAS but happy about my other D-Link equipment.
DNS-320 works well too. But I expected the opportunity to place just a basic HTML-structure there (my own website just for me) to read my personal informations there from each point on earth via DDNS and a browser. OK, I see a web file server in application section of the web interface where I have to download each file. Probably there is an application I do not find to display content in the browser just with a click. Other people say, I should look for another NAS supporting a personal web server. Others modify the DNS-320 or install a free web server on the NAS, tricky and time wasting. Well, may I ask for support how to solve my problem using D-Link resources like a firmware upgrade or similar? Probably somebody recommends another D-Link product? Thx a lot for any hint! Kind regards, Manfred

Unless the feature you're looking for is made available on the stock firmware, you have no other choice but to install FFP. Too bad current firmware doesn't have basic feature like shell access else it will be straight-forward as the NAS already come with it own webserver apps (lighttpd).

Also I find it very irony, my PCI NAS-01G which is a 7yrs old NAS already has such simple feature for user to add their own webpage.
