I have tried to reset the hole box with the reset botton and updatet the firmware to the latets version.
But when i try to login on my FTP it comes with this

[R] 220-You are user number 1 of 10 allowed.
[R] 220-Local time is now 05:53. Server port: 21.
[R] 220 You will be disconnected after 10 minutes of inactivity.
[R] USER ***
[R] 331 Any password will work
[R] PASS (hidden)
[R] 530 Please tell me who you are

I have tried anything Annoymous is not allowed i have disabled that on my share.
i have created accounts but same problem with all accounts.
Is there some one there know how to fix this ?

It is very difficult to give any advise for the simple reason the FTP server on our two NAS boxes just works.

I have tried four FTP clients and provided I give the correct username and password they log on without any problem.  Maybe you should try another FTP client on your PC and see what happens.

OK.  First check you settings for the FTP server (page 44 in the english manual) and make sure they are correct.

You should then try to login to the NAS using its IP ( on my case 192.168.2.32).

I get, using JFTP:

<REPLY> 220------------Welcome to Pure-FTPd [privsep] [TLS] ------------------
220-You are user number 1 of 10 allowed
220-Local time is now 21.07. Server port 21
220 You will be disconnected after 10 minutes of inactivity
  <COMMAND> USER xxxxxxxx
<REPLY> 331 User xxxxxxx OK. Password required
  <COMMAND> PASS ***********
<REPLY> 230 OK.  Current restricted directory is /
  <STATUS> Connected to 192.168.2.32/12.168.0.32

The fact you get, [Response:   530 Please tell me who you are] points to there being some problem with how you are trying to connect to your NAS.

You should also check your network shares settings - the user name and password there are those you use when logging in with the FTP client.

As I said before it is very difficult to advise you what else to try.  FTP is one of the simplest ways of connecting to the NAS.
