P2P has disappeared in Windows 7
« on: September 23, 2012, 04:25:22 AM »

Hi,

Having some problems with my Dlink 320.

I recently changed one of the drives in the 320 to a larger drive, The smaller one (Volume_2) held my p2p folder, and worked perfectly.

Once the new drive was installed, the p2p folder has vanished.

I can still access it through the web interface and see all of my files, windows also recognises exactly how much space the drive has and how much is used.

I tried to recreate the p2p folder, and tried adding a new torrent via the web interface to see if they would pop back up, but no such luck.

I also tried putting the drives back in their original configuration, but it didnt come back then either.

I'm using firmware 2.02 and I've tried this on two PC's and the p2p folder has disappeared from both.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

You'll probably need to set up a new share... Go into account management > network shares
Create new, then point it towards the p2p folder on the new volume

You may also need to delete the old share before it'll allow you to create a new one

What Chris said, also alternatively you culd type in the address bar:
\\DNS-320\Volume_2/p2p/complete
this way you can reach the downloaded content
