Actually, I just got my DNS-320 today, and since I'm Hungarian I tried the firmware. Everything runs okay this far, but I haven't noticed any changes to 2.03.

Thanks for the info, actually I'm from the same region - Central Europe. So I'll try it and see :-)

As a reminder, please be mindful of the source of firmware prior to uploading. Although this FW is from an official D-Link source, it has not been signed-off as compatible with U.S. purchased hardware (or hardware from regions outside of Hungary).

Thanks for your answer - yes I'm aware of region-specific limitations.

Just to be sure, I've downloaded and compared last official fimrware (2.03b03 aka 2.03 final) located on Hungary FTP and our FTP location (Czech Dlink server). The binary firmware inside zip file is exactly the same, although their name differs.

hungary - DLINK_DNS320.2.03b03(2.13.0618.2012)(BETA).zip
czech - DNS-320_fw_revA_2-03B03_all_en_20120919.zip

Even 2.03 official firmware downloaded from "global" ftp.dlink.com is the same. Filename "dns320_FW_203" (not zipped, without filename extension).

So wish me luck, hope I won't brick my DNS-320 flashing 2.04b01

That statement was directed more towards the community at large. 
Despite the region specific nature of the firmware, I'm sure everyone is eager to learn what changed in this latest version.

Flashing this 2.04 beta FW went OK, everything looks the same as with 2.03. Haven't been using it thoroughly, only to measure transfer peformance (more on this in this thread http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=51588.msg194097#msg194097 ) and then downgraded back to v2.02.
Performance is not as bad as with 2.03 but still not satisfying.
