Has anyone had their 5222L move on them?

I walked into my room one time, and the camera moved down 2, and left 1, like it was tracking me as I sat down in my chair.

Way to fast to have happened if someone had control of it from the outside, as there was no lag.  I didn't check the logs.

I had my phone and tablet (galaxy tab) in my hands, and my remote control was below the table.

I haven't had any luck in reproducing this incident.  Scared the crap out of me.

When the camera loses power, I believe it resets to the home position. Is it possible that the camera briefly lost power and reset to the home position? Is the DCS-5222L home position in the direction of the chair you referenced in your post?

Nope

About the only thing I can guess is that some how some signal emitted from my tablet or phone, or the infrared lights some how reflected back into the remote control on the 5222L causing the movement?    Is that even possible? (I don't know much about remote controls).

Short of the DCS-5222L developed a mind of it's own (i.e. pick your favorite movie: AI, Wall-E, Terminator, War Games, Colossus: The Forbin Project . . . ), it sounds like either a rogue IR signal on the correct wavelength, power disruption, rare bug in the FW, or hacker (as RealLinSanity suggested), are the most likely candidates causing the camera to move.

To be on the safe side, make sure your DCS-5222L doesn't have access to the missile launch codes!
