« on: March 03, 2013, 06:43:44 PM »

hi i would like to know if it is possible in dir655 ver  1.30 to limit bandwith in QoS using mac address?
because in QoS Engine Name i can only see this opt.

        Name
        Priority (1..255)    Protocol<<
Local IP Range to   Local Port Range
Remote IP Range to Remote Port Range

no opt for MAC, what if the user use DHCP?

any help or suggestion is very much appreciated thank you.

QoS uses IP addresses to manage connections and priority, by MAC addresses. You can reserve the IP address connected to a MAC address first then use QoS to help you mange devices.
