Hi,
After several tests on the 320L I have found that the maximum possible transfer rate is around 23-25MB/s with direct access and cable (should give a transfer rate around 200 mbps). The same as many others on the internet have reported.
The reviews and specs also states that you can connect with 10/100/1000 mpbs for higher transfer rates..
I am not sure I understand this..
What is the reason to use more expensive 7200 rpm drives when the BUS only allow around 200mpbs?
What is the reason to connect with a 1000mpbs when the BUS only allow around 200mpbs?
What is the reason to set your drives to run RAID 0 for faster performance when the BUS only allow around 200mpbs?
What is the official transfer rate on the device given by DLINK?
Or is the low/poor performance caused by the SMB on the device?
Or what am I doing wrong here..?
Thanks, K
