Fail to connect NAS DNS-325 to a remote FTP server
« on: July 15, 2011, 01:03:36 PM »

I am a web designer and I would try to schedule a backup of my website folders to the NAS using the "FTP/HTTP Downloads" application.

I've tried many ways to setup the DNS-325 FTP client but the test process always fails (It seems that the FTP client never connects to the remote FTP server).

Settings to connect to my FTP server and the error popup window :

Thanks in advance for any help or clues you might give.

Computer Info:
Dual Quad Core
4GB RAM
Nas Drive(s): 1 TB x 2 (RAID 1)
DNS 325 Firmware: 1.01

Just for information.

I had the same issue.

Folder should be : ftp://xxxxxx/folder/

Don't miss the "/" at the end.
