v2.03 vs v2.07 vs v2.10
« on: April 05, 2013, 10:24:01 AM »

Versions 2.03 and 2.07 work with apple products WEP guest accounts v2.10 does not
Versions 2.07 and 2.10 fully shield the ports as tested by shields up at GRC.com v2.03 does not

I selected v2.07 as the best of both worlds

Does v2.10 work with Apple WPA or WPA2 Guest accounts? I know there was a problem in v2.10 originally that Apple products would not connect at all in Guest Zone. It was fixed in a recent build of v2.10.

I tested GRC on 2.00 and ports were open and after applying v2.03, ports were shielded.  :-\ We had a discussion about this a while back on here.

I can confirm that in Mixed mode, WEP 64 and 128 bit works on my Mac Book Pro with OSX 10.7.5 on a DIR-655 loaded with v2.10NA.

I did noticed that I could not set WEP mode if using Single mode N only and believe WEP requires G mode or Mixed ALL mode.

So it would seem to be a configuration issue, not a FW issue.
