DIR-655 A3 Router
« on: June 07, 2014, 01:09:10 PM »

My router automatically checks for new firmware versions and says that my current V1.21 is the latest version.  The D-Link website says that V1.37 is the latest version for my Hardware version, (A3).

Which Version is correct for DIR-655 A3?

Thanks

Link>Welcome!

  • What region are you located?

v1.37 is for all REV A routers, however recommend if your not experiencing any problem, keep what is loaded.

If you want to upgrade FW, please follow this:

Thank you Furry.

I'm in Tucson, Arizona.

My DIR-655 A3 Router with V1.21 is working fine.  It's never been a problem and we've had it over 3 years.
As you suggest, I think I'll leave well enough alone.
I thought I might be able to improve access to my network printer if I updated the firmware but we're able to get by the way it is.  As we get newer devices we'll need a new router before long, anyway.

Thanks again.
