Poor Quality from DCS5222L
« on: July 12, 2013, 02:19:55 AM »

Hi, I don't seem to be getting true 720P quality from my d-link camera. I have it fitted indoors, up on the ceiling and the quality in good day light is pretty poor. I have a 720P web cam that works a lot better. Any info would be great

Can you post your setup in audio and video and have you adjusted the lens on the camera to focus it?
What do you have under Encode Type, Resoultion, bps and FPS.

Put it in night mode with the IR's on.

I had the same problem, then I realized the camera shipped from the factory out of focus.  A quick twist of the lens and the image became clear as a bell.
