WD LIVE TV USB 3 ATTACHED DRIVE

OK I can not get my WD LIVE TV device to see my network USB Drive. All my other network connected devices can. Any idea's? Thanks.

UPDATE - OK after many reboots, my WD LIVE TV box can see my router as its custom name under media server, however the list of videos show up as strange names and only list a few, I am waiting to see if it will catalog the complete set and offer them up.

Gave up and plugged my USD drive back into my PC. It kept disconnectiong and only a few items showed up on my WD LIVE TV box.

  • What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under router.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
  • What region are you located?

I presume there is probably a compatibility issue with this WD Live TV and the router maybe if other devices are seeing it correctly and the WD isn't.  :-\
