Xbox Live Question for Everybody
« on: August 22, 2013, 04:11:27 PM »

I wanted to know if anyone has had any issues using the default factory settings for xbox live? I know there is a forum posting out there for tips but on Xbox Live site it seems like this router should work out of the box just fine. I was just curious about other people experiences with this.

It should espcially if u have uPnP ebabled for 1 xbox. However you could see some gaming performance issues w more than 1 or multiples of gaming consoles online at the same time, in game NAT status conditions, or if other devices are online along with gaming that could also effect gaming experiences. QoS helps to ensure all experiences are good based on priorities that users can set. My 2 cents.

So you think there will be issues with two xbox 360s.

Any other devices online while gaming?  Youll need to test and see what your results are. I personally use the QoS for 2 or more consoles and create a second rule for all other devices set to a low priority.

Makes sense. I have one xbox 360 wired and one wireless. I will soon be getting an xbox one and getting rid of one of the 360s
