- Are you wired or wireless connected to the router?
- Has a Factory Reset been performed?
- Was a Factory Reset performed before and after any firmware updates?
- Was the router working before any firmware updates?
Internet Service Provider and Modem Configurations- What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?
- What ISP Modem Mfr. and model # do you have?
- What ISP Modem service link speeds UP and Down do you have?
You can do some data tracking as to what devices are going to what sites with the use of Access Controls and logging there.
If you are having problems with certain devices, I would recommend using QoS and setting up some rules to set those devices to a low priority however they can still get some Internet and QoS will ensure that other users will no longer be effected by them if they seem to be hogging Internet band width.

DIR series routers don't have data usage tracking. The new DGL-5500 series now has some data usage features that are new. This router is a gaming router and is being marketed for that kind of use.
