Well I bought my 2132L camera a few weeks ago, and finally have it set up to allow outside users access to my camera in my garage. I am on a 50Mbps plan with Shaw, and using their high speed router which is a SMCD3GN. Using the mydlink.com sign in page, I have color and sound (which I also have with the MyDlink Lite Android App). However using the remote sign in, the guest gets black and white, a very choppy video and no sound. I have gone through multiple settings to try and fix this, and so far have been unsuccessful.
It's extremely difficult for me to troubleshoot this with DLink themselves, as I am at work for the entire time their call center is open.
My camera is connected via WiFi, I have the latest firmware installed, and I did poke around here (and our overlord Google) on the forums looking for clues but so far no dice.
This is kind of frustrating for a camera I spent $200 on. I am using the HTTP connection protocol, should I be using another?
It doesn't appear this site is very busy, so I hope somebody can offer some insight before I get fed up and take it back. I have already contacted the store I bought it at, and explained my issues, and they said they would offer me a store credit at the very least. I would prefer to just get this working, but I may be forced upon another route.
