DLINK DDNS BEHIND FIOS ROUTER
« on: March 05, 2014, 08:38:09 AM »

Hi,
I am trying to figure out a way to use my DNS-325 and Dlink's DDNS service behind a FIOS / Actiontec router.  The FIOS router does not support Dlink's DDNS, but does support DynDNS, which is the "parent" for Dlink's service.  Does anyone know if this is possible or if there is a workaround.  I am trying to setup the FTP server on the DNS-325 to access it remotely.  Any help with the DDNS issue would help.  Thanks.

No problem. You can configure the DynDNS on the NAS and it will update the data. Another thing is that you have properly configured the NAT router to forward FTP traffic

I use no-ip.com and have no problem. -
