DNS-320L can't connect
« on: October 11, 2013, 10:32:13 PM »

Hi, I added two new hard drives, first one was detected and formatted and I could log in using the IP address, the second hdd was not detected so I swapped the hdd's around in the bays, then it was detected and formatted, then I reinstalled a third time so I could set them up in raid to mirror each other, since the second install I have not been able to login! And even the desktop icon/link it places for us is a dead link, and I'm using two WD red 2tb drives.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks a lot.

Thanks for the help, figured it out myself after four days of wasting time  ;).

Now I've been following the instructions in the link in the DCS-5020L forum on setting this up as a server to record pictures on here based on motion detection, but those instructions are not very clear, anyone have a detailed instruction set to set this up to record pictures based on motion detection?

Thanks.
