I wanted to upgrade to latest version of the software. I downloaded the file but when I typed 192.168.0.1,  I got the message saying, my browser is old and I should upgrade my browser.
Funny thing is I am on the latest IE version 11.0.2.
I am able to open the web page but nothing react to my clicks.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

It's recommended if your router is working...keep what is loaded.

What browser are you using?
Try Opera or FF? If IE 8, 9, 10 or 11, set compatibility mode and test again.
Disable any security browser Add-ons like No Script and Ad-Block or configure them to allow All Pages when connected to the router.
Clear all browser caches.
Try turning off these features in Chrome:
Top right corner, little bars for options > Settings > Settings (on left) > Show advanced settings.
Uncheck these:
Use a web service to help resolve navigation errors
Use a prediction service to help complete searches and URLs typed in the address bar
Predict network actions to improve page load performance
Enable phishing and malware protection

Thanks for replaying.
I am in San Francisco Bay Area.
Everything works fine. I am getting good speed on my computer but wireless devices (Ipads) are very slow. I wanted to check the neighborhood and see  if I need to change the channel.
Forgive me my ignorance but where can I find compatibility mode, I see only compatibility view settings under Tools in my IE 11.02.
The same applies to No Script and Ad-Block  (is it pop up blocker).

Some suggestions to try before upgrading FW:
Wireless Configurations

• Ensure the default (dlink) SSID name is changed. Can be anything and not something thats already in use by any neighboring WiFi routers. Under Setup/Wireless/Manual.
• What wireless modes are you using?
• 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz routers: Try single mode G or N or mixed G and N on 2.4Ghz and single mode N on 5Ghz?[/b]
• Channel Width set for Auto 20/40Mhz or try 20Mhz only.
• Try setting a manual Channel to a open or unused channel. 1, 6 or 11. 11 for single mode N if the channel is clear.
• What security mode are you using? Preferred security is WPA-Personal. WPA2/AES Only. Some WiFi adapters don't support AES, so you might want to try TPIK only or Auto TPIK and AES.
• What wireless devices do you have connected?
• Any cordless house phones?
• Any other WiFi routers in the area? Link> Use InSSIDer to find out. How many?
• If you have any of these options, Try turning OFF or ON Short GI, WLAN Partition, and Extra Wireless Protection if you have it. Recommended settings are default. Under Advanced/Advanced Wireless.
• Enable WMM Enable Under Advanced/Advanced Wireless.
• Try setting Medium or Low power output settings and test again Under Advanced/Advanced Wireless.

Ok,   I added Dlink.com to my Compatibility View but it did not help. As I mentioned before I can open device information page but no button is functional.
Here is what I see:

2.4 GHz  is on channel 9
802.11 mode,  mixed: n, g and b
channel width 20 MHz
Wish active
WAP only personal

5 GHz is on channel 48
802.11 mode,  mixed: n and a
channel width 20 MHz
Wish active
WAP only personal

The network name (SSID) is different for each channel.
Hardware version A1,   Firmware version 1.01

Is there anybody with Win 8.1  and IE 11.02 who can check (change) statistics, logs and others on

I cannot do anything.

Finally, Firefox worked. I can start optimizing my network. It is time to read manual and learn what I can do? I decided not to upgrade to the latest version yet.  I need to educate myself.

BTW, My computer speed is 28.88 Mbps download and 5.98 Mbps upload
but Ipad  is 5907 Kbps and 207 Kbps respectively

Wireless speeds can vary since there are many factors in using it. Wired speed testing should be used in speed testing.
