Installing DWM-156 on ubuntu 12.04

HI, yesterday i buyed D-Link DWM-156,
I am unable to install it on my O.S. , on asking technical support team they say "we dont know how to deal with ubuntu".
I am unable to install the "3g_modem_connect_D300_i386.deb" file. but on plugging in the device it is not detected. Please help me.

I recommend that you phone contact the Ubuntu support help line and ask them how to install .deb files.
