Laptop A has issues with 321, othe systems don't.
« on: June 03, 2009, 09:03:10 PM »

I have a pair of laptops I'm trying to write files to DNS-321 from.

File size is roughly 7GB (system backup).

Laptop A is running Vista Business 64 SP2, Laptop B is running Vista Home Premium 32 SP2. Router is a Linksys WRT600N running DD-WRT.

A has an intel 4965N, B has an intel 5100N. Both are running the same drivers (latest off intel's website), A connects at 270Mbps, B connects at 135Mbps, both on the 5ghz band.

A times out within a few seconds, where B has no problems.

The desktop has no issues over GigE Ethernet.

A and B have no problems writing to the desktop.

A has no problems writing to B.

There are no settings on the NAS to give preference to one or the other. Any suggestions? Updating from 1.01 to 1.03 b7 made no changes.

It looks like disabling jumbo frames has helped. File transfers are working for now...
