Dear Dlink forum mates ,
i got a DAP-1360 acces point router which used to work fine using firmware 3.00 version, recentlly i did update it to 3.04 version! but since the update i couldnt capture my WIFI signal! i did try reinsial or configure in all ways! but still cant get my signal back! i just checked  everything and it looks good! now am searching the frimware 3.00 version to upload it back to my equipement! but cant find it on the net! i did search everywhere!
please! can any1 upload it for me if u have to or help me get it ?

PS. i did try the firmware v3.02 and 3.03! and it didnt work at all! it show me error invalid image!

What wireless modes are you using on the EchoLife router?

Try single mode G, 20/40Mhz or 20Mhz WPA/TPIK only then try WPA2/AES only on the Echolife router then try to connect the DAP to the router with each configuration mentioned.

I notice that this Rev DAP is not listed on the North African support site. Only Rev B is. Not sure if you should use NA or EU region FW to update this unit. I presume the EU region would be my first guess.

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and get immediate help and information on this.

Thank you for your help, i was tray all mode G and WEP/WPA2 ....... with different channel 1...13
 My problem is in the level of the signal received it was 24 with firmware 3.00 and now after i upgrade the firmware to 3.04 it is 6.
 Do you can give me firmware version 3.00 of DAP-1360 rev.C1

Ty  men i find the signal now i upload firmware 3.00 and it work !!!
 
but i have one question  :
what is the maximum distance between router and repeater??

i capt the wifi signal at 12 but DAP-1360 not connect

The best way to check distance is to place the repeater at a close distance, then check that WiFi status on the main host router for signal and data rates. Then start moving the repeater and checking the status. When you start to notice that the signal drops, then you'll have an idea. I deal signal would be 90-100%...

Hmm, you should not have downgraded the firmware, v3.04 is a good firmware version. If you lost signal, it just shows that you had a weak signal before and could do with a boost.

If you are using a laptop to connect to the dap-1360 buy a TP-Link 5dbi externa antenna and install that on the d-link unit. Will give you better coverage, even the weaker signal from the laptop to the dap-1360 will benefit from this, as the unit will pick up the weaker signal easy, because of a larger antenna.

Anyway as a side note.

Upgrading firmware should not matter as the power output from the units WIFI should is the same.
