IGMP Session? Port Scan or something else?
« on: March 29, 2014, 08:01:27 PM »

Hey Guys,
I have a Dir655 router connected to Shaw Broadband Cable (Canada), I have noticed i get this Ping every few mins in my Internet Session window.

Local       NAT        Internet    Protocol    State    Dir    Time Out
224.0.0.1:       -          22.10.0.1:   IGMP             -           IN        1

I have disabled Multicast streaming, it was enabled, and i noticed that local address of 224.0.0.1 is a multicast ip... but i still keep getting this ping..

btw i dont do any torrent downloads either, i have a ps3, couple of pcs, laptop and an android phone hooked up to it.

is there anyway to block this?
