Can no longer add media to NAS

Hello.

I have had my DNS-321 for about 4 years. Was setup on on a PC, and have been using it with a mac for the last 2.5 years without any issues. Recently, I have run into a problem. While I am able to stream media on to my TV through a media player, whenever I try to add a video from my computer to the NAS it just freezes. I also am not able to delete any video. I just get the spinning beach ball that apple puts up on the screen.

Read and write are enabled. And, like i mentioned, everything was fine for years, and one day it isn't.

Thoughts? Suggestions?
